Cape D'Aguilar Marine Reserve

Established in 1996, the Cape D'Aguilar Marine Reserve is the first and only marine reserve in Hong Kong. It aims to protect the rich marine life and natural coastal environment. Activities such as fishing or collecting marine organisms are strictly prohibited. The site is famous for its unique geological formations and landmarks, including the "Thunder Cave" (sea cave), "Crab Cave," and a historic lighthouse. Given its high ecological value, visitors are strongly urged to respect and preserve the environment—please do not touch or remove any marine life.
