Kiu Tsui Country Park
Hong KongEstablished in 1979, Kiu Tsui Country Park is located in the Port Shelter area of Sai Kung. Covering approximately 100 hectares, it is the smallest island country park in Hong Kong. The park encompasses eight islands, including Sharp Island (Kiu Tsui Chau), Kiu Tau, and Pak Sha Chau. It is highly regarded for its significant geological value, featuring volcanic rock formations dating back 140 million years and the iconic tombolo (a sandbar) that connects Sharp Island to Kiu Tau at low tide. It is a popular destination for hiking, picnicking, and appreciating unique natural landscapes.
