Mount Parker is located in the eastern part of Hong Kong Island. Standing at 532 meters, it is the second-highest peak on the island, trailing only Victoria Peak. Part of the Tai Tam Country Park, the mountain is a popular destination for hikers and serves as a vital water catchment area for the city. At the base of the mountain lies the Woodside Biodiversity Education Centre, housed in a historic building known as "Woodside." Mount Parker Road, located on the northern slope, is the primary trail leading toward the summit and historic military sites, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Quarry Bay, Chai Wan, and the eastern entrance of Victoria Harbour.
